For people that work with file sequences, we usually see:
It would be great to have an option to collapse them (based on extension would be even better) so they look like:
I am so happy to find out a new version of Q-Dir today. :) Thanks for your great work!
I have an idea for Q-Dir. I used to use FindeXer from http://tomseffect.com/ frequently before switching to Q-Dir. And I still miss some of the features in FindeXer like able to quickly navigate to my favorite folders. Is there any way to incorporate the FindeXer panel into Q-Dir? Or even implement its features into Q-Dir?
I select in my 3 windows the 3 directories that I use all the time,
And checked Q-Dir always. With Current window position, and every time I reopen Q-Dir I get the default directory in the 3 windows back - is that normal?
Add a private search file function, based on a native dir function (quick)
Allow unlock of your "Dir" form (like usercontrol, for treeview & listview)
I also suggest incorporating everything search found
I like qdir very much, but it lacks several features found in other file managers, one is the search function,
About the auto-focus bit when mouse hovers other listview which I mentioned before.
This results from my explorer being set to web mode (single click runs program, hover selects) It is therefor not so a bug in Q-Dir. Apologies if I made this impression/mistake.
I encountered one problem: I cannot open a document (e.g. a Word document) from a web folder by double clicking on it.
I do al lot of testing, so I prefer to adapt to the standards of my academy, wich unfortunally is IE6. That's why upgrading to IE7 is not my fist choice.
("accwiz.exe" if you can't find it on your start menu).
I wish Q-Dir used the same text size as in windows explorer.
