Q-Dir is great! It's definitely the best freeware file explorer I have ever used (and I've used a lot).
May I suggest some improvements though:
-configurable keyboard shortcuts. xplorer2 has some great default ones, including ctrl-k to go to your "my documents" folder, as well as ctrl-backspace to go to "Desktop".
- another global hotkey to activate the Q-Dir window
-ability to minimize to the system tray
Thanks again and goof luck with development!

Thanks for suggest!
I'w add this option at Q-dir in the future

Align Filenames in 2 Directory Windows for file comparison.
Different views of this comparison 1: Same Filenames in both Directories 2: Different Names in both Directories 3: Identical Files (Names, Dates, Size, .) 4: Identical Filenames but different (Dates, Size, .)

Fabulous arrangement and utilization of Windows Dir.however
I am having trouble dragging and dropping from one pane to the other. Sometimes it works one or two times and then I cannot pick up the dragged file from the original folder at all. I can highlight it, but it is stuck. If I go to the normal Windows Explorer, everything works. Also.in a pane, if there are two columns.one on the right of the pane and one on the left.and I highlight a file on the left, the entire column shifts to the right.is this normal?

Found there was no way to recall the recent command
I just downloaded your ColorConsole 1.59 to my WINXP SP3, IE7. Found there was no way to recall the recent command like the normal command promt. Usually we use the UP ARROW key to recall the most recent command. It only allow to use the DOWN ARROW key but not recall the most recent command. It recalled it from the oldest one. Please let me know whether it's a bug or i missed something.

Both do not update zoom on secondary monitor
It stops repainting at the edge of the primary monitor, making for a nice effect in the zoom window :)

When creating a new folder in Qdir 3.49
Is there a way to stop Qdir from going into that new folder once created? I'd like to stay in the folder that I am presently in and not move into the newly created folder.

Context menu's is where I am missing things I do have in Explorer.
I have a couple of utilities or extensions which should add functionality to the treeview and the listview and commands to the context menu's

Password protected ftp
I am not able to get it to do so. This would be a wonderful addition. On my system the IE login dialog box comes up and I enter the data, but it is refused. If I go to windows explorer, the IE login dialog box comes up and I enter the data and it is accepted.

Add a feature that allows user to double click on the empty space
Instead of pressing the "back" button, would it be possible to add a feature that allows user to double click on the empty space within a window frame to return to the previous page?
