I like your program but it crashes almost daily.
I have 2 XP SP2 computers in a home network. It happens often while I copy from the network to the local computer. Then when I right click on a local folder Q-Dir disappears.
OS : Windows XP Pro SP 2 En US. IE 6.0.2900.2180.
Is this Q-Dir V. 3.33
Yes sure. But I had also the problem with the previous version.
I will do some more test
in a home network.
Why the options "Classic Address-bar" and "Modern Address Bar (Like Vista)"
Are disabled in the Extras - Address-Bar menu ?
I need to access several dir at same time.
To make it even more easier to use, could you add a small feature to it: allow use alt+1/alt+2/. to select the favorite book marks?
We could save our favorite FTP sites (our Web sites for instance) in Q-Dir and manage them directly.
I have a suggestion. It would be great if a panel could be a FTP session, so we could transfer files from and to the other panels very easily, just as we do with local files/folders/drives.
When you work in a network and there is folder
Where you don't have access rigths if you try to open this folder with Q-DIR it crashes.
Copy paste files (or dirs) via drag and drop
From one panel to another does not work. There is no error but nothing gets copied or moved.
As a 'portable' application on several pen drives
(flash memory datasticks). Even with USB2 and a fast drive, transfer is naturally quite slow compared to a hard drive. My suggestion is this: when dragging a folder onto a previous copy of itself, could there be an option for files only to be replaced by a file of the same name when it has a a newer date? This would often speed up the operation. (For instance, I often work on several documents on a desktop PC, then I am in a hurry to leave and want to carry away a copy of the whole Documents folder) Thank you, J,,,, C,,,
Will provide a pop-up menu(like classic style)
I suggest that Q-DIR will provide a pop-up menu(like classic style) when I right click the address-bar's edit path area. Then I can copy the current dir path.
Single pane for all of us who have small monitor,
Right click on pane border(when in dual pane) to "minimize"(swap, hide it, make it minimal in size) second pane to the window border. I hope you understand, my english.
