Hi, thanks a lot for the program. I've been looking for this kind of application for 10 years, finally I found it. I was using Microsoft File Manager all this time. What I need is to have 4 windows open at the same time for drag and drop between folders on the Network.
Your Q-Dir is The One and Only File Managing Software that can do multiple pane very nice. There are some other apps I found but I didn't like it.
THanks again.
My suggestion for improvement:
- Is there a way to save Filter? I want to see certain files ALL THE TIME - different filter on different drive. The filter feature in Q-Dir doesn't save. When I close Q-Dir and reopen it, the filter is gone. I have to set filter again.
THat would be nice to have.
Thank you very much for your hard work.
I sent your web site link and the app to all my friends to use it. THey love it, just like me.

To>Is there a way to save Filter!
I will add autocomplete function in next version!

Full English version of your great softwares?
I think that would makes other people easy to translate your great softwares into their language. Thank you!

To correct the window of the quick link because it is not possible to order the links
In every window superior tongues for an express access to the wanted directory.Dragging a directory in the bar of the tongues is had to open the same directory (of the type cards navigation Firefox. Or of the type TotalCommander ). Is possible to personalize the bar of the tongues so that to the closing remains you memorize. All of this makes the immediate navigation (to see Total Commander to understand the philosophy)

Can you save view for each folder independently
So every time I open "downloads" its automatically sorted by date but when I go to another folder such as program files its automatically sorted by name? Explorer saves view options for each folder but almost no substitute program seems to do it effectively. Would also be nice to have it replace / integrate explorer automatically for any time I click on a drive. Thanks. Nice little program otherwise.

I have several Explorer substitutes and use Q-Dir 99% of the time.
My suggestion: In options allow me to specify what subdirectory I want Q-Dir to display when it opens. For example, I open to two panes and would like to have My Documents on the left and My Computer on the right. Even without change it's easy to get to where I want to go and I love this program.

I am so happy to find out a new version of Q-Dir today. :) Thanks for your great work!
I have an idea for Q-Dir. I used to use FindeXer from http://tomseffect.com/ frequently before switching to Q-Dir. And I still miss some of the features in FindeXer like able to quickly navigate to my favorite folders. Is there any way to incorporate the FindeXer panel into Q-Dir? Or even implement its features into Q-Dir?

Ini option to hide mouse cursor (only show small center cross)
Reason: CursorXP, some cursor sets use large images, and precision select cursors may cover much of the zoom view so you can only see a small bit in the middle.

Remember which folders or drives
How can I have Q-Dir remember which folders or drives were opened, so that next time it remembers this? Example, I always want Q-Dir to open C in upper left, D in upper right, My Docs in lower left and MyMusic in lower right.

Change the background for each folder
Can you please allow me to change the background for each folder through the View menu.
