Can we have support for 7zip files.
your think as a folderview
Yes exactly....Also, you know I use this software but some how also i feel that I cannot use it as a default file explorer as i cannot make it default. I also find it a little slow because of i think 4 windows opened at a time, it takes time to open the tree so there is a need to may be do something to improve speed. Its color can also be toned down to match windows colors (or may be option to change colors).
As a 'portable' application on several pen drives
(flash memory datasticks). Even with USB2 and a fast drive, transfer is naturally quite slow compared to a hard drive. My suggestion is this: when dragging a folder onto a previous copy of itself, could there be an option for files only to be replaced by a file of the same name when it has a a newer date? This would often speed up the operation. (For instance, I often work on several documents on a desktop PC, then I am in a hurry to leave and want to carry away a copy of the whole Documents folder) Thank you, J,,,, C,,,
Windows explorer shell.
I'm very pleased to use q-dir as a shell in my project Win7PE because it is the smallest, most reponsible and quickest. It would be very benefitial if it has own Startmenu, Taskbar+icon tray+date/time and desktop background image support. I would like to use it as main shell instead of Windows explorer shell.
Für <- Unicode? lol

Not outsite the list of files or folders
Select a part of files or folders by draging so that the draging start within the list of files or folders, not outsite the list of files or folders
I do like QDir, which a fantastic (and free !) piece of software.
But I would be very glad, when I launch it, to have each window automatically opened on the directory which was opened the last time I closed it.
I encountered one problem: I cannot open a document (e.g. a Word document) from a web folder by double clicking on it.
I do al lot of testing, so I prefer to adapt to the standards of my academy, wich unfortunally is IE6. That's why upgrading to IE7 is not my fist choice.
("accwiz.exe" if you can't find it on your start menu).
I wish Q-Dir used the same text size as in windows explorer.
How do I see a thumbnail view?
Thumbnail view is not available in MS Windows Explorer either. I am running Windows Vista Business. See below.
