Dear Mdm/Sir,

I am unable to stop Q-Dir (version 3.51) from opening .zip file within Q-Dir.

I have both WinRar and WinZip installed on my computer.

While using Q-Dir, when I click on any .rar file, WinRar opens itself inside WinRar; However, when I click on .zip file, the zip folder opens itself inside Q-Dir instead of WinZip.

I was wondering if there's a way for me to use Q-Dir when I click on a .zip file, WinZip would opens itself in a the WinZip window rather than inside the Q-Dir window?

I had followed what was suggested on your FAQs (http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=faq-Q-DIR&faq=20), and the problem remained the same.

Please advice and thank you.

Have a good day ;-)

Thanks for the advice.

Your suggestion did not work on my computer. I have followed what was mentioned on
http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=faq-Q-DIR&faq=1 . My Q-Dir still opens up .zip file inside Q-Dir windows instead of WinZip's.

It's a bit of a hangnail for me but I can live with that for the time being. I do like Q-Dir very much, hope you will iron out the problem soon.

Again, thank you so much for such a small and a wonderful program.

Have a good day ;-)

Please Test also the 3.59!

How do I set a color filter in Q-Dir for compressed and encrypted files?
This is when using the black theme. and adjusting the colors. It would be nice if the feature was like #en for encrypted and #cp for compressed, or something like that. Anyway, the colors for encrypted and compressed files seem to be the same as the * color

This is a restricted location not write accessible to non-privileged users.
Configuration parameters should be written to the locations defined by either "AppData" or "Local AppData" in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] to ensure they are writeable & personal to each user.

I have just noticed in the English "For Bugs" that I should have advised you:

View and compare fonts that are NOT
Would it be possible to let user view and compare fonts that are NOT installed also? User can choose folder where fonts are saved and view all. If the user likes a font, then click the font and press install to copy font to Font\ folder.

In the registry, program data, appdata etc, or am I going blind?
Sorry for the false alarm. don't really know what happened but it started working. no, not because of a reboot, which I did many times. something else corrected the problem

There needs to be some documentation on the use of the color filters
I tried your new program today. It looks very nice. A few things I have noticed thus far and a comment or two. 1. If I delete one or more files (select files and then press DEL key). The program minimizes after deleting the files.
