Hi there Nenad
I've struck a lousy glitch in my much-loved Q-Dir:
* It won't show me the MENU BAR so I can't access the menu options I need. (See attached screen capture)
I had Installed your latest version recently on my new computer. I 'think' it was displaying Menu at that point but not at all sure. At the start I set it to show 4 vertical panes + the left-side tree.
What I've done to try to fix problem:
Have tried extracting it out of zip package again but it still opens with NO MENUS.
When I open Q-Dir each time, I see the Menu bar VERY BRIEFLY, then the whole window quickly jumps up a step to EXCLUDE the Menu bar. This all happens damn fast. Ugh!
Then I read on your website that Internet Explorer influences Q-Dir so I opened IE and found I had switched off Menu bar to get more space on small screen. So I turned Menu bar back on. Powered pc off, powered on and opened Q-Dir. Still no luck - STILL NO MENU BAR..
Do you think I should delete every reference to Q-Dir off my computer and start again?
Here is the information you might need:
WinXp Pro SP2
Internet Explorer 7
Q-DIR v 3.51
Any and all ideas from you will be much appreciated.
I'm lost without the full functions of Q-Dir.
(I always used it on my old computer which crashed)
Please Test 3.59 and kick me again!
Whoopee! all good now.
Menus returned with fresh install of 3.59. (I first used Revo to totally uninstall all tracks/traces of the troubled version, as added precaution)
Will watch Q-DIR carefully to see what causes it when/if the menus disappear again.
Many thanks Nenad! - Ann
