Please start DesktopOK and open the sub-program (function) Windows metrics and change the Windows Desktop Icon size and view.

DesktopOK messes everything up! What can or must I do so that it works properly again for how many years?
It's easy to use and always nice to find the desktop icons in the usual place on the screen. I would still like a small addition or adjustment option in the icon design: a) change the icon size b) adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing. I have not yet found a suitable tool for this and the change via the Windows registry is too impractical for me. The extension and insertion of this little additional function shouldn't be that difficult for you as an expert and would certainly look good on the "DesktopOK" tool.
Every time I open the interface, I hope to save the user's operating habits. For example, set the directory arrangement to large icons as the default.
My problem would be solved if DesktopOK also had the option "Restore at program start" in addition to "Restore at system start". Then I would simply delay the start of DesktopOK via "Task Scheduler" from Windows (I already do this, but unfortunately nothing helps) and then it would be automatically restored. At the moment I still have to manually click on "Restored" after the delayed start.?
