Auto create system restore points in Windows 8.1 / 10, how to enable/disable and/or adjust?
Windows 8.1 / 10 automatically creates restore points when programs are installed, system changes, installing drivers, etc...

1.) Disabling or activating the automatic recovery points!
To disable or to enable the automatic creation of system restore points in Windows 8 please press the key combination [Win-Logo] + [R], then simply type in the command sysdm.cpl ,4 ( ... see Image-1 Arrow-1).
In System Properties/System Protection ( ... see Image-1 Arrow-2)
click "Configure..." ( ... see Image-1 Arrow-3)
in "System Protection for Volume" enable or disable the Windows 8 automatic creating system restore points

available drives (Volume) appears in the list ( ... see Image-1 Arrow-6)

By enabling system protection, you can undo undesired changes by reverting your computer to a previous point in time. To Disk Space Usage: You can adjust the maximum disk space used for system protection. As space fills up, older restore points will be deleted to make room for new ones. And also:Delete all restore points for this drive.
2.) Where to find the windows recovery points (.img extension)!
If an app, or program that has recently been installed, does not work quite well, or has negative effects on the Windows 8.1 / 10, or if the Windows computer is getting slow and may stop responding, you can use the button, or the System Restore button will find all created restore points : the full description with pictures can be found here:
