If you mean the identifier in the new Windows, which is now called "This Pc" instead of "My Computer," then there is no difference between "This PC" and "My Computer" or Computer
It is just a name for one of the Virtual Folders in Windows.
In the My Computer or Computer and This PC folder, you can see the drives of your windows computer. I think that's why MS decided to call it a Computer or Workspace . However, by right-clicking you can rename and change it at any time in "My Computer" or "AP" or what you want.
By right-clicking on the icon, you can also open the properties of the computer all Windows in example Windows 10 (Redstone 4 & 5), 8.1, 8, 7: Pro, Home, Enterprise, Basic, Premium, Professional, Starter, Ultimate, Windows-Server 2016, 2012, 2008 and all older Windows OS.
