A virtual PC is a fully virtual-based work computer within an existing computer.
The virtual PC works in a virtual environment on an existing computer, this is not only possible under Windows, there are also software solutions for Apple's MAC OS and Linux, which allows one or more virtual computers to be virtualized simultaneously within the pre-installed operating system simulate or operate.
Virtual PC is a program / software solution that emulates a PC on Windows, Linux, or on a Macintosh. When Virtual PC is installed, part or all of the screen can be used for the emulated operating system. You can run any program that runs on other operating systems on regular PCs. The entire hardware is simulated (emulated) in the virtual environment.
Virtual PC is commonly used by developers or individuals who need to test more than one version of Windows - or use older programs that are not compatible with the newer versions of Windows.
Various programs and APPs can be tested in the virtual environment where you are not sure whether this is the right software, or simply test and experiment the programs, the original operating system is not changed. Usually you can make a copy at any time, so the operating system does not have to be reinstalled on the virtual PC.
3.) What do you have to consider when using the virtual PC?
With Virtual-Box, or Virtual-PC, you can run more than one operating system simultaneously on one computer and run many applications in a virtual Windows, MAC, or Linux environment on a single computer directly from your computer, on which Windows, MAC, or Linux is running.
