When I switch between HDMI switcher the icons get rearranged!
When use a HDMI switcher between my work laptop and home computer into a 4K Visio TV that I use as a 'monitor' (huge desktop workspace/ great for gaming)
User Notice from 3. November 2017:
Sometimes when I switch between the two - the home PC decides it 'sees' the switcher as only 1024x768...I would then have to unplug / reconnect the HDMI for the home PC to return to 1920x1080 resolution - but all my desktop icons get rearranged etc...
► ... DesktopOK restores it with two clicks
Please if possible use ... always the latest version of DesktopOK

Store information, files, and a lot of shortcuts on the desktop - this is what affects 90% of users of the operating system the Windows . Often there are situations where the expansion of the monitor gets lost and thus destroys your entire desktop , creating chaos on it. Labels are not in their places , the basket sells and the like. This can happen for various reasons, for example, you play a game, and, going out of it, the monitor extension did not change to the one that is set by default. Or another example: when you connect a second monitor, the extension is reset and you have to put everything back in its place, which is very annoying. To save your nerves, use DesktopOK .
