Search and Find Files by Modification Time in Windows, Examples!
Using Modified Date: In Windows File Explorer in Windows 11, 10, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1, you can search for files,
changed after a date of your choice. Using this tip can be useful for anyone who has lost a file but knows when you last modified the file.
1.) Search by modification date!
Follow the steps below to get the date or date window shown in the picture.
1. Launch Windows File Explorer Shortcut Key ( Windows + E )
2. Enter modified:

3. After modified: is entered, the "Select a date" window appears, or a range of dates depending on the Windows and folder type.
4. Select the date, or date range if you think the file was last modified.
