How can I watch videos on the ZEN 100 from Creative Labs, or which video format/codec?
With the ZEN 100 MP3 player from Creative Labs, you can easily convert videos using drag and drop. This works with the software located on the ZEN 100 in the "/Starter Pack" folder.
1.) Installing the ZEN 100 software!
First, of course, the ZEN 100 software must be installed.
To do this, simply connect the ZEN 100 to your computer via a USB cable. This will be recognized as a removable drive in Windows 7, Windows XP, or Vista.
Now simply open the "Starter Pack" directory (folder) on the removable drive (My ZEN). There you will find the ZEN software, labeled "setup.exe." Simply double-click it to start it and follow the installation instructions.
2.) Transferring and converting videos to the ZEN 100 MP3 player.
After installation, you can immediately launch the "ZEN 100 software"! Open the folder containing the desired music videos or films in an Explorer window.
In the ZEN 100 software (Creative Central), simply switch to the "Video" tab to drag and drop the videos onto the ZEN 100. The videos will automatically be converted into a *.cmv file (Creative).

3.) Problems with drag and drop on Windows 7 x64 and other 64-bit operating systems!
On Windows 7 x64 and other Windows x64 operating systems, drag and drop may not work the first time you start it. Simply close and restart the "Creative ZEN Multimedia Software," and if necessary, the x64 operating system itself.
