How do I find out how much RAM is installed on a computer?


Under all Windows 11, 10, ... and MS Server operating systems you can quickly determine how much RAM / memory is installed on a computer!



Content:

1.) ... Open the Task Manager to see the amount of available memory!
2.) ... Detect the installed RAM via the command prompt and system info!
3.) ... Detect the installed main memory via the control system!




1.) Open the Task Manager to see the amount of available memory!

1. Keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + ESC

2. On "More Details"

3. "Performance" tab

And you can see not only the installed but also the available RAM / main memory recognize on the computer!

2.) Recognize the installed RAM via the command prompt and system info!

1.  Windows + R  keyboard shortcut 

2. Command:   cmd

3. And you can already see the entire physical memory  via systeminfo command

3.) Detect the installed RAM via the Control System!

1. Windows + R shortcut 

2. Command:  Control System

And recognize the installed RAM directly on all Microsoft Windows operating systems, the nice thing is it does not only work on MS Windows 10, 8.1, ... but also on modern Microsoft Web Server systems such as the popular MS Server 2019 and 2016!
