Synchronization does not work on Windows 10 / 11, the solution!


If there are problems syncing on Windows 10 or 11, the solution is to check your account settings!



 

The synchronize with a time server is easy, but for all apps, such as OneDrive and various other things, require a verification for each computer under Windows 10 and Window 11, usually this is only done once during initial commissioning, or if you have created  a new user account as a system administrator, here is an example, how you can check it on the corresponding user account!

On Windows 11 it looks a bit different but works the same way!

Direct command to settings  Windows + R and  ms-settings:sync << in year 2022 Win 11 & 10! 
OR:

1. Open the Windows 10 Settings ( Windows + I ) key

2. On "Accounts"  

3. Click / Select "Your information"  

4. "Singin with a Microsoft account insead"

5. Enter the Email

Then you will receive an email with a security code. Please use the 7-digit security code for the Microsoft account . Just type in the code field. Quite easy once you've done it.
