It's easy to hide or show desktop icons in Windows 11, you don't need an external software solution to do it!

Desktop icons on Windows 11 are similar to customizable as on older Windows operating systems, but there can be problems here, from time to time, or things that you have forgotten to set up, so here are a few links on the topic and desktop icons on windows 11!
Desktop icons are small graphics that appear on a computer's desktop. They represent either files, folders, programs, or other items. Desktop icons are a convenient way to quickly and easily access frequently used items.
By default, Windows includes the following desktop icons:
Computer: Displays the computer, including the C: drive and all other connected drives.
Network: Displays the network including all connected computers and devices.
Recycle Bin: Contains all deleted files and folders.
My Documents: Displays the user's personal folder.
Control Panel:Displays the Control Panel where users can configure settings for their computer.
These desktop icons can be added or removed as needed. To add a desktop icon, right-click the desktop and select New > Shortcut. Then enter the path to the file or folder you want to use as a desktop icon. To remove a desktop icon, right-click the icon and select Delete.

The size and view of desktop icons can also be customized. To change the size of desktop icons, right-click the desktop and select View. Then select the icon size you want. To change the view of desktop icons, right-click the desktop and select View. Then select the view you want.
In Windows 10 and 11, desktop icons can also be displayed in a list view. To activate the list view, hold down the CTRL key and rotate the mouse wheel.
