Show hidden files in Windows 11 File Explorer!

A hidden file is a regular file, but it will not be displayed. Hidden files can be displayed and also created normally!

Windows 11 has an updated version of File Explorer that moves away from the ribbon in favor of a more minimalist menu of basic commands. As a result, some of the settings are now harder to find, such as the option to show hidden files.

2.) Why activate hidden files in Windows 11 File Explorer!

Info:

In Windows 11, you can enable hidden files in File Explorer by following these steps:

Open File Explorer:
You can do this by pressing the Windows key and “E” on your keyboard or by clicking the File Explorer icon on your taskbar.

Click View in the File Explorer toolbar:
This opens the View tab in the ribbon at the top of the File Explorer window.

Enable the Hidden Items option:
On the View tab, you will see a checkbox labeled “Hidden Items.” Click on it to enable showing hidden files and folders.

Hidden files and folders are now visible:
Once you enable the Hidden Items option, File Explorer will display hidden files and folders in a slightly faded or dimmed font to distinguish them from normal files and folders.

Please note that showing hidden files and folders can be useful when you need to access system files or configure certain settings. However, be careful when making changes to these files as they are usually hidden for a reason and changing them may affect the stability of your system.

Remember to turn off the Hidden Items option when you're finished working with hidden files to keep your File Explorer clutter-free.
