Portable use and Windows 10/11 protected folders problem!
Under Windows 10 or 11, when Windows Defender Folder Protection is turned on, there are problems with deploying the portable version!
Some users who do not know that Portable programs save the settings in the working directory and this is not always possible with Windows 10 and enabled Defender Folder Protection, because some user run the QuickTextPaste program from the desktop.
For this reason, there are two versions from version 4.01 in the download area, once standard and the portable version of QuickTextPaste!
I'm trying to save the .ini file to a custom folder. Is it possible in Quick Text Paste 4 Windows? Can you help me, please? I'm running Windows 7 and Windows 10!
Hi, Been using QPT for a good while and have a bunch of shortcuts entered. When I used the new 4.01 today it did not see my entries as all other upgrades have. So, reverted back to previous version and all is OK.?
