In Windows 11 Microsoft account to local user and back!

Microsoft allows you to easily make the Microsoft account a local user in Windows 11 at any time and vice versa!



Everyone probably knows the advantages and disadvantages of a Microsoft account , but sometimes you want to change the Microsoft account to a local user account for technical reasons, or to switch back to the Microsoft account. Why not if you can!  PS:  Autologin only works with external tools!

1.) Windows 11 Microsoft account for local user!

1. Open the Windows 11 settings as always  ( Windows + i key)

2. Go to  Accounts  ► scroll on the right to option  Your Info

2. Scroll to Microsoft Account 

3. And just click on log   in with a local account instead

Then you will be asked whether you are safe and you have to assign a password

2.) Make the local user account a Microsoft account!


1. Open  the Windows 11 settings again ( Windows + i key)

2. Go to  Accounts  ► scroll on the right to option  Your Info

2. Scroll to Local Account 

3. And just click Sing in with Microsoft- login instead

Next is a query of the MS account email and login, you have tt know the MS password

3.) What should I watch out for when changing the account type on Windows 11?

Once you have understood  the advantages and disadvantages of a Microsoft account  , it is only important for the Microsoft Store and the apps it contains, what type of account you use. But you can usually switch at any time, or use different accounts on a Windows 11 computer!  

Most users who value privacy use a local account, you can do this simply by installing Windows 11 with a Microsoft account and then deleting it, before deleting it create a new user with a local account. Whatever you want to do and who you trust is of course up to you.
