Delete system data on Windows 11, 10, 8.1, ...!

If the Windows operating system becomes slower, deleting the superfluous system data can help!

For most Windows 10, 8.1 systems, the important "C" drive is the only one on your PC, i.e. the one on which the Windows operating system is installed and all important system files are stored. Inevitably, this is also the drive that is flooded with redundant system data due to endless Windows 10, 8.1 updates that were forgotten to remove after downloading, since everything is saved on the "C" partition by default, the system will eventually become sluggish!

Fast system data deletion on Windows 10, 8.1, ...!

1. To delete the system files under Windows 10, start the "cleanmgr"

2. Via the Windows 10 Run dialog (keyboard shortcut Windows Logo + R)

3. Select the drive with the system files

4 In the cleaning options click on the button "  Clean system files"

Info:

Now you know how to clean up your C drive to have more storage space and then work properly and quickly under Windows again. Windows 10 has a handy feature called Storage Sense that monitors the storage space on your PC and then immediately cleans up if you run out of storage space. Basic things like cleaning up the Recycle Bin, removing old files in your Downloads folder, and deleting temporary files on your PC.
