Cortana window cannot be closed in Windows 10 / 11?

The best way to close the Cortana window is to close the Cortana app via the Task Manager and prevent the system from starting.

Content:

1.) ... Exit the Cortana app via the task manager!
2.) ... Prevent Cortana from starting automatically with Windows 10 / 11!

1.) Exit the Cortana app via the task manager in Windows 10 or 11!

1. Start the Windows Task Manager
(Ctrl + Shift + ESC or right-click on an empty space on the taskbar)

2. Go to the "Processes" tab

3. Search for the Cortana entry .

4. Once found, right-click on the entry Cortana

5. And then on "End Task"

2.) Prevent Cortana from starting automatically with Windows 10 or 11!

1. Start the Windows Task Manager 
(Ctrl + Shift + ESC or right-click on an empty space on the taskbar)

2. Go to the "Startup" tab 

3. Search for the Cortana entry  . 

4. Once found, right-click on the entry Cortana 

5. And then on  "Deactivate"
