QDir is cool program but recently when I upgraded to Vista (64-bit) there is something wrong with the QDir behaviour. Mainly my consern is about lenghty file operations like copying plenty of files. Basically QDir freezes during the copy operation and no progress dialog is visible to cancel operation. Only in very last second the progress dialog pops up but then the operation is already finished.

OS: Vista 64-bit SP1
QDir: 3.29
IE: 7

J.... H........, Finland
I must still make 64-bit tests

I would like to use it in Linux
Using Wine and on a Mac using Darwine. It seems to work perfectly except for one problem. The text in the selection buttons at the top for toggle, 3 dir, etc. is not visible. All other text including drop downs and baloons is good.

The Color Filter Import does not seem to work.
I have a color filter setup from an previous version(3.47)as Q-Dir_color.ini and it does not seem to import in at all.

Can you put your publisher info into the executable so it runs without this warning in Vista Home Basic?

I personally hate the clicking sound
It seems like there is some kind of clicking sound that cannot be disabled. I personally hate the clicking sound , if there is an option for it that would be great.

Full English version of your great softwares?
I think that would makes other people easy to translate your great softwares into their language. Thank you!

Can I somehow disable the click sound when opening a drive/folder?
I cannot seem to find an option to disable it. You have created a great program, thank you.

I am using Q-dir as default file manager(Setting "*Q-Dir" as default action for file folders).
I prefer to use "listview" for folders and "1-dir". When I choose "starting as" -> "use last view", then it is okay. But when I choose "starting as" -> "1-Dir", then when I double-click on a folder to open, it starts with "detailed view". Is there a way to make q-dir start with "list view", without using a desktop shortcut(xxx.qdr)?
