Is Q Dir Vista 64 compatable ? If not, if I ran it from a Thumb drive would that work, do you know??

I must more test !
But i Q-Dir run on 64 bit

It happens often while I copy from the network to the local computer.
Then when I right click on a local folder Q-Dir disappears. OS : Windows XP Pro SP 2 En US. IE 6.0.2900.2180.

I am using Vista and when I attempt to search
It pops up a program outside of Q-Dir to do the search. I would rather stay in Q-Dir.

I like the option to save as desktop item with all my preferences,
When I copy or move large files from a directory in one window to a directory in an other window, at least the "source" window is "locked" and can not be used as long as the copy/move is running. Can't you start that copy/move process in the backgroud so that the window is free again?

This function become essential when the user want to get detail of each of their files position
To report it for their troubleshooting to administrator or to people who charged or for other reasons conditioned to their own needs.

The directory size
How do I enable the "Optional display of the directory size and directory content in the status bar"?

Can we have support for 7zip files.
I cannot use it as a default file explorer as i cannot make it default. I also find it a little slow because of i think 4 windows opened at a time, it takes time to open the tree so there is a need to may be do something to improve speed. Its color can also be toned down to match windows colors (or may be option to change colors).

Please, let me know if there is a way to sort folders and files
Together so that I can have 3 folders followed by 2 files, followed by 10 folders and so on in the view panels.

One of the best free file managers, realy.
What about predefined (by user) filters? For instance, button on toolbar (or pop-up menu) "Docs" and filter "*.doc;*.rtf;*.txt".
