Dear Q-dir,

I've been looking into Q-dir and the program is fine. Untill now I used mainly SpeedCommander but the fact that Q-dir can open more windows then 2 is a nice improvement which often comes in quite handy.

However what Q-dir lacks is a synchronization mechanism. A prefer a simple mechanism like Norton Commander had in the past over the more advance one that SpeedCommander supplies. Quite often the latter does not what I expect.

Thank You!
I Will do my best!

synchronization mechanism

I currently use TortoiseSVN
And that changes the files/directory icons if files have modifications etc. When I view these in UltraExplorer the icon shows the TortoiseSVN icon. In Q-Dir it does not.

How to choose font for file list items
How to only show visible Desktop icons in a file list of the Desktop folder (not show Internet Explorer, Computer, Network, Control Panel, etc.)

Could you please build in an option so that I can select 1,2 or 4 panels to display?
Perhaps I will send you a thank-you reward after 30 days if I still find your program as good as I do today.

I've been using Salamander 1.42 for a long time
One feature that I was not able to locate is the possibility to have the program start always with the same directories in the panels. In my case for example I need C:\ and M:\ (a network drive) to be there every time I start QDir.

Hallo, is it possible to change (or install) English language into Q Dir
I am working on it. In 1-2 weeks has come! Likewise UNICODE

Preview pane support other file formats like .pdf, .doc, .txt, etc.
Wonderful little Explorer alternative. Great functionality. Thanks! Would love to see the preview pane support other file formats like .pdf, .doc, .txt, etc.

Select filename when press F2, select file extension when press F2 again,
I wish to have a filter box, and when I enter keyword in the filter box, Q-Dir shows files and folders having the keyword in their name.

I cannot delete that folder. If I open a file in a folder
In both cases, I have found that Q-Dir still is holding open the file (via a file handle). Even if I exit out of Q-Dir (File -> Exit), the file is still held by Q-Dir. This led me to find that Q-Dir is still listed in the Task Manager as a running process. I then have to END TASK on Q-Dir manually to terminate it in order to release the file handles.
